Paul Eugene Halstead, only child of Earl H. and Ada Halstead, was b. Feb 20, 1907 and passed away April 9, 1922 aged 15 years, 1 month and 18 days. He accepted Christ as his Savior and united with the Church of the Brethren, une 27, 1920. He was a member of the MT. Pleasant Sunday School. He was of a quiet, gentle disposition. His health had been poor for some time but he had no fear of death. He leaves his mother, stepfather, three brothers and an uncle. Erastus Bales, a great uncle and aunt, Washington and Bell Bales and a best of friends to mourn his early departure. Funeral Tues at Mt. Pleasant, conducted by OL Minnich and Samuel Stoner. Interment in the New Ross Cemetery. - kbz
